“Ice Coffee – for a cooling on a hot day“ steht auf dem Statement-Shirt, das ich mir im Onlineshop von Jeans Fritz ausgesucht habe. Und ich kann es kaum erwarten, bis es endlich wieder soweit ist und auch das letzte Café in Köln Iced Coffee auf der Karte stehen hat…

“Ice Coffee – for a cooling on a hot day“ says the statement shirt I picked from the Jeans Fritz online store lately. And I really cannot wait for the time, when each and every café in Cologne finally offers iced coffee again…

Slowly but surely I’m fed up with winter – and that means it’s time to have a look at the upcoming fashion trends for spring and summer 2015. Besides some well-known trends, we can also look forward to some new and interesting ones. And because the upcoming season has a lot to offer, I decided to show my absolute favorites first.

Even if you didn’t make it to Berlin this week, didn’t sit in the front row and didn’t freeze five days at a time well dressed through winter, it probably has been no problem at all, to stay up to date about what’s going on in Berlin (Thanks to Instagram!). Yes, maybe I’m a little bit jealous, cause’ I haven’t found the time, to go to Berlin, but it also has been really nice, to sit at home, no-make up, just sweatpants and spy out what’s going on in Berlin. And there was a lot going on!

It’s time for Blogger Fashionweek No. 3. And which topic could be more seasonable than „Sparkling December“!? The christmas decoration sparkles, we sparkle, the snow sparkles. No, wait! There’s no snow! I did my research and found out that the chances for snow aren’t desperate, but vanishingly low. But Frank Sinatra and I are taking care and are going to sing „Let it snow!“ every hour until wednesday. So, if it will (contrary to expectations) snow on wednesday, you know who you’ll have to thank!

Bloggers don’t like each other. They just bitch about each other behind their backs. Bloggers only look for their own profit. And if it seems as if they would like each other, it has to be fake.
Good thing not everything that people say is true. I guess this prejudice may go for some bloggers, but I’m always stunned how nice and heartily the most bloggers are, when you get to know them. A blogger, I especially have taken to my heart, is Lisa from The L Fashion. So I guess it’s clear who’s the „special guest“ today – of course it’s Lisa! But at bottom, originally I’ve been the guest. Because Lisas boyfriend (and photographer) Jochen has been so sweet, that he didn’t only take some pictures of Lisa some days ago, but also some pictures of me.

„Are you a boy or a girl?“ he asks me. „A girl!!“ I answer disgustedly. This happened some years ago at a festival. It was dark and rainy. I was wearing wide jeans, sneakers and a rain jacket. The hood covered my unmade-up face. When I think about it today I understand that it wasn’t clear if I’m a girl or a boy. But at that time I brood about it for a while – am I only clearly recognizable as a girl, when I’m wearing typical girls clothes!?

Today starts a new category on the blog: „In love with…“ Aren’t we all women that fall in love quickly? At least when it comes to fashion? And is it reprehensible that we take no stock in monogamy in this matter? How is it that we aren’t satisfied with one pair of black boots? Without seeing through rose-colored glasses my black boots almost look identical – I guess the differences just can be seen with an enamored heart. But even if we don’t believe in monogamy, don’t we believe in endless love? I pledged allegiance to my boots and also to my flared jeans. And currently I’m about to swear fidelity to my growing collection of capes. That’s why the post of „In love with…“ starts with „In love with… CAPES.“

This is the second look me and my friend Princess Leia shot on saturday. As I already told you, the two looks we did have nothing in common. You can have a look at the first one here. I know, I know, my friends name isn’t Princess Leia, her name is Sarah. But to give sense to all of that, I decided Princess Leia from now on is my new nickname for Sarah. I think she won’t like it, but hey, she’s a got a female name including a title of nobility. It could have been worse, like Jabba or something.

„Once upon a time, very long ago…“ that’s how every phantastic fairy tale and every enchanting bedtime story starts. Remember the days, you had nothing else to do, but hide under your bedclothes wearing you favorite pajamas, close your eyes and listen to a wonderful story. Our bedtimes stories became others, but from time to time I dig out my storybook and with the greatest amazement I realize that some things may loose it’s magic when you grow up, but fairy tales will never belong to these things.
