It’s raining men! Hallelujah!

I don’t know why, but every time it’s starts raining, a couple of songs about rain or at least with the word „rain“ come to my mind. My favorite rain song is the fantastic song „It’s raining men!“. But till this day I can’t decide which one I like better – the original by the Weather Girls or the cover by Geri Halliwell!? My rainy dance performance definitely is inspired by Geri Halliwell (at least in my head). By the way, I like rain, not every single time and also not this mean storm or constant rain, but a short summer rain can be so so nice. And this leads us to the next song: „I’m singing in the rain“ by Gene Kelly – this man’s totally right – singing and dancing in the rain can make one happy! Who is in bad mood and didn’t want to sing with me by now, may join singing the next song: “Why does it always rain on me?“ by Travis.

Did someone say „Woodstock“? I swear I heard someone say it while I was picking up this look. The Woodstock-Festival is legen… wait for it …dary! Legendary! I think it’s real cool that a onetime event has become symbol for a whole movement and its fashion. Probably most of us did not witness the Woodstock-Festival, but I guess almost everyone has an exact idea of it. Little Big City Look.

Nowadays it happens extremely rarely that I receive a classical text message. My friends mostly text me via Whats App or they just call me. The few text messages I receive, mostly are notifications about missed calls or advertising. Usually there’s nothing interesting in it, so from time to time it happens that they stay unread for a couple of days. It’s not that the tiny little numbers that appear in front of the message symbol don’t annoy me, but often I’m too lazy to get rid of them. Does it sound familiar to you? Sometimes I’m so lazy that I let myself get bugged by these kind of tiny little matters, instead of taking a minute and get it done. The day before yesterday I received a text message one again and I don’t know what came over me, but I read it immediately, as if I knew I was going to read something interesting: an invitation to Mangos pre-sale.

during the last days it has been a little quiet on my blog. If you think I may have been on vacation or just enjoyed the beautiful weather, you’re not completely wrong with the last one, nor are you completely right. Truth is I worked with Bene on his very last-minute World Cup Song for 2014. If you didn’t knew, Bene isn’t only my boyfriend and photographer, but songwriter as well. And the whole World Cup story starts about two weeks ago when Bene had the idea to produce his own World Cup song…

At the Movies

When was the last time you went to the movies? I haven’t watched a movie in cinema for a very long time, although I just love everything about going to the movies. Popcorn or nachos? Both! I just can’t decide which one I want, so I always buy both. Normally I have no problem to share my food, but when it comes to cinema I do have. I want to eat everything all alone. But that doesn’t work when you have your hands full. Well, that means sharing after all (but unwillingly). At this point I really have to laugh about myself because it’s so weird. But that’s how it is – I’d share everything with you, except my popcorn and my nachos.

March is drawing to an end and slowly but surely we approach the Easter holidays. I’m not quite sure if it’s the sunny weather or the colourful easter decorations that you can see at almost every store right now, but I totally feel like dressing myself brightly coloured. Why don’t we leave painting Easter eggs to the Easter bunny for now and deck ourselves with freshly spring colors. Because spring has arrived and it’s going to stay. Spring has finally arrived and I can’t tell how much I looked forward to wear just a jeans and a lightly shirt again at last. Get rid of the greatcoats and the warm boots. To me this outfit is the absolute casual-classic. I love jeans, especially distressed jeans, cause they always look pretty cool. That’s why I’m ok with the older generation asking me from time to time why I am wearing damaged jeans. That reminds me of a friend of mine gotten hit by an older person with a carrier bag some days ago, because her jeans were having a hole as well. First she was a little confused, but when he started to rail against her jeans she started to laugh about it. What does the story tell us? Beware of carrier bags when wearing distressed jeans.
