How fast things can change: until a couple of years ago, even wild horses couldn’t drag me to wear denim shorts. And today!? Today im truly in love with denim shorts. It’s another story, why it has been like that, but let me say it that way: some people think they’re too grossly and other think they’re too skinny. But nobody’s perfect and that’s why we should like us the way we are.

“…where dreams are made of, there’s nothing you can’t do. Now you’re in New York Cologne.“ New York or Cologne – where’s the difference? Ok, although I’m badly in love with Cologne, I must confess that there might be a little difference between these two cities. Aside from the fact that Cologne (of course) is much more beautiful, New York may be a little more lively. But during the next days the gap is going to decrease. Why? Because it’s Cologne carnival! And that means streets will be crowded and there will be almost nothing you can’t do, or become – just like in New York!

Trend color: Red. This time I got inspired by this beautiful fall / winter 2014 look by Prabal Gurung. But he wasn’t the only one that showed us a red-on-red look this fall / winter. And although I normally don’t feel attracted by pieces in red, I’ve fallen head over heels for „shades of red“ look this year. Where does it come from? As we know, red is the color of love – so could it be, that red touches our inner romantic side? Or do we just still think red is the expression of sensuality and passion?

Yesterday, my friend Sarah (wo already took the last photos for my blog) and I shot two looks, that couldn’t be more different. You can see the first one in the pictures. Normally, I just dress how I feel to do – fashion as an expression of mood! But while we were shooting these two different looks I experienced once again, that you not only dress yourself depending on how you feel, but you also feel depending on how you’re dressed! So, fashion isn’t only an expression of our moods, it also effects on how we feel.

A short story. It’s the 1st of September. Nine o’clock. The alarm clock goes off. I sleepy get into the kitchen. Brew coffee. Drink coffee. A look through the window. Sunshine. A second more precise look. Blue sky. Joy. Another coffee. Having a shower. A look into my wardrobe. Flip-flops? No. Sandals? No. Boots! My new booties! Jeans? No. Leggings? No. My new summer dress! A jacket? No. A trench coat? No. A pullover and a scarf! Perfect! Get out quickly. It’s warm in the sunshine. Cold among the shades. It’s fall. It’s beautiful fall.
