Buffalo Spring / Summer Collection 2015

(ENGLISH/DEUTSCH)

Just another reason for being excited for summer to come – the new Buffalo spring / summer 2015 collection has arrived! And I think it couldn’t be more versatile! Pastel, metallic, glitter, sneakers, wedges, heels – if there isn’t a fitting shoe for every situation then I don’t know. My first treasure are the Buffalo plateau wedges in 90ies style, I already showed you in the look „It’s time for neoprene, baby!“.

The Cotton Candy Coat II How I met my outfit

The Cotton Candy Coat

(EN/DE)

Cotton Candy and love apples, bumper car and raffle ticket booth, roasted almonds and pickled cucumber… everyone thinks of a different word, but we all mean the same: funfair, fairground, kermess. How long I haven’t been there! As a child I totally loved it – especially the raffle ticket booth and „pull strings“ – although it’s the most unspectacular thing you can do at the funfair. „Prizes, prizes, prizes! No blanks! Every ticket wins!“ As a child you firmly believe that this time you’ll win the biggest soft toy the ticket man has to offer. But oh no, countless times you go home with a stupid little keychain. Some learn from that and leave gambling behind. Others start to join the lottery and firmly believe that one day they will win the biggest prize the lottery fairy has to offer. But we all now what they gonna take home countless times…

In love with... WOOL COATS II How I met my outfit

In love with… WOOL COATS

(EN/DE)

„In love with… CAPES“ and „In love with… OVERKNEES“ follows today „In love with… WOOL COATS“. There was a time in my life, I refused to wear coats and winter jackets. I decided to wear three sweaters underneath my summer jackets and freeze unmovable through winter. I really can’t tell why. But if that wouldn’t have been enough – I had the same „problem“ with boots once, maybe it has been at the same time. „Who’s this crazy girl wearing a denim jacket and ballerinas in winter?“ That was me. But luckily these days are over and I’m in love with coats and boots since years. At the top of my „although I already got one, I need to buy some more-list“ currently stands a wool coat.

Happy about the summer comeback! <3 How I met my outfit by Dana Lohmüller
Happy about the summer comeback! <3

(EN/DE)

The last weeks haven’t been summerly at all. So I wished badly for a summer comeback. At least for one summerly day, with blue skies and warm sunshine. Without summer rain. Although the weather forecast didn’t sound promising, we decided spontaneously to spend some days at the North Sea in the Netherlands. If we won’t get our sunshine, we’ll get at least some beach and sea days. We arrived on Wednesday evening, when it already got dark. As soon as we got our things out of the car and made the beds, it started to rain and storm. And with this sizzling gas heater, we had to turn on, because it was really cold inside, it kind of felt like an untimely, but cozy fall evening.

The Cat Print Shirt

Did you notice that you kind of have to choose between cats and dogs? Either you like dogs or you like cats. Probably, you can’t like both. And according to wether you decide to like cats or dogs, you’ll judged. I truly heard the question „What about you? Do you prefer cats or dogs?“ quite often. But I don’t like to choose. I like both. Cats and Dogs. I don’t find cats boring and dogs stupid. Why do I have to choose only one? I don’t have to choose if Iike mice or hamsters as well. Do you remember cat dog? Seems as if there was another one who couldn’t decide…

Lazy sunday: easter picnic II How I met my outfit

Lazy Sunday: Easter picnic

(EN/DE)

I’ll keep it short today: I wish you all a happy Easter! Enjoy the sunny holidays and have a nice time with your families. Don’t forget to eat a lot of treats.

Back in the days I was a child, the one thing I loved most about Eastern has been the Easter egg hunt. Someone somehow decided that you have to quit doing it when you grow up. That’s a real shame! Some days ago I dyed some Easter eggs and accidently almost every single one got the camouflage look. Actually not pretty, but they would have been perfect to hide in the backyard. Maybe I can convince Bene of hiding Easter eggs next year. In that case I would buy brown eggs and mix all colors again.

Lazy Sunday: Pastel Pyjama by H&M

(EN/DE)

It’s sunday again. This week went so fast and I’m looking forward to not to have to get out of bed so early today. Unfortunately, I have to tidy up and to do the laundry, because I didn’t get around doing it during the last week. My pile of washing got so tall again, that I fear climbers shortly will stand in front of my door to be the first one putting the flag on the top of „Mount Laundry“. So, doing my laundry! Very important!
