My dear ones, today I’ve got another MBFW Berlin look for you. Prior to fashion week, I’ve been a lucky girl and was allowed to pick up my favorite pieces from the spring / summer collections of two of my favorite brands – Pinko and Navyboot. This black & white look, that I wore for the after show party by Marina Hoermanseder, is one of the looks I created with the new styles.
It’s officially fall and that means it’s time to get our over knee boots and trench coats out of our wardrobes again. Because besides cozy sweaters and cardigans, over the knee boots and trench coats are the fashionable incarnation of fall.
Here’s another Mercedes Benz Fashion Week look. I know, it took me some time, but because the weather in Berlin didn’t turn out to be as good as expected, we had to shoot some of my looks again. Our first tries in Berlin have been literally „gone with the wind“.
Each and every summer, there are countless palazzo pants inside the stores. Floral prints, airy fabrics and loose patterns – the perfect pants for summer days, on vacation and at home. (Preferably on vacation, of course.) But palazzo pants aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. A lot of people find them too playful or too shapeless. Some have the feeling to „go down“ in palazzo pants and others think palazzo pants appear bulky. So, whoever only dislikes the shape of palazzo pants, may fall in love with the new trend pants: flared hippie pants.
When we start to put on our gloves and beanies, when there’s scent of glühwein and roasted almonds in the air and we secretly hope for snow, it becomes clear: Christmas is coming. The glühwein season has started, present searching begins and our homes are about to get decorated festively. But not only our home need to get decorated – as soon as my surrounding ablates with light, I feel like dressing myself up for Christmas!
Some shoes are made for sitting… „Aww, they fit, but I cannot walk. But they’re soooo beautiful – maybe I just put them into my wardrobe and have a look at them from time to time.“ said my friend Sarah when she tried on these shoes, I bought some time ago. I couldn’t walk wearing them as well, but they also were a little too big for me. If it just would have been the fact, that I can’t walk wearing them, I would have kept them. I know, it’s very logical. Shoes you can’t walk in anyways, at least have to fit to make you keep them. But they didn’t and so it was the perfect solution that these beautiful heels will be standing inside Sarahs wardrobe, because at least they fit her.
I don’t know why, but every time it’s starts raining, a couple of songs about rain or at least with the word „rain“ come to my mind. My favorite rain song is the fantastic song „It’s raining men!“. But till this day I can’t decide which one I like better – the original by the Weather Girls or the cover by Geri Halliwell!? My rainy dance performance definitely is inspired by Geri Halliwell (at least in my head). By the way, I like rain, not every single time and also not this mean storm or constant rain, but a short summer rain can be so so nice. And this leads us to the next song: „I’m singing in the rain“ by Gene Kelly – this man’s totally right – singing and dancing in the rain can make one happy! Who is in bad mood and didn’t want to sing with me by now, may join singing the next song: “Why does it always rain on me?“ by Travis.
