I’m pretty sure you’ve already noticed that bomber and flight jackets make a sensational comeback this year. And the selection in stores is huge – from plain-colored, to flight jackets with prints, patches, embroideries and lacings, you’ll find almost everything you’re looking for. And I just found a very special one from Stierblut – the jacket was made for their 25th anniversary in collaboration with Alpha Industries and is limited to 25 pieces worldwide. Say whaaat!? <3
(English / Deutsch) Besides my big passion for denim, there’s also another big passion: my passion for high quality leather pieces. Weather it’s about shoes, jackets, bags or pants – as soon as I’m fallen […]

Today it’s all about a very special fashion accessory: lingerie. The times in which we needed to hide our underwear beneath our clothes have gone and during the last years especially bras became a true fashion accessory that’s supposed to be shown. Currently it’s lace bras and bralets that are totally up to date.

Finally here it is: the fifth look from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin. I already showed you an elegant look, a trendy one, a casual one and a typical „street style“. And this time the look is cool, but also a little edgy. To me, jumpsuits mostly look very cool and stylish and if you know the items by Moschino you know that they’re very edgy and special.

Here it is – the first Mercedes Benz Fashion Week look. And it’s also the most classical look that I wore for Fashion Week. Like probably everyone else, who went to Fashion Week Berlin, I thought a lot about what to wear for Fashion Week. All in all the most of my Fashion Week looks are kind of casual, but I wanted to take at least one classical look with me. The black lace dress by Liu Jo seemed to be perfect for the classical look. Because, let’s be honest, what’s more classical than the „little black dress“!?

It’s the end of April, summer is coming closer and closer and our wardrobes get filled with summer dresses, sandals and shorts. And probably we all feel the same: we like to go on summer vacation – somewhere far away. But sometimes things turn out different as hoped for: no time, no money – the great vacation need to be shunted to next summer. So, no „Great Escape“, right!? Yes, maybe. Or maybe not. Of course, going on vacation is great, but does it always have to be faraway places and desert islands? Or is it possible to experience some feeling of a „Great Escape“ right where we are?

I guess most of us probably won’t travel to California this weekend, won’t visit Coachella and won’t dance the night away on desert sand. Is it a pity? YES! Is it a reason to be sad? Maybe. But for those, who would love to experience a little bit of Coachella flair, consolation is in sight: This year hippie, boho and 70ies looks are more fashionable than ever – and not only for two weekends in California. Fringes, suede, lace and crochet details dominate the fashion collections in store. Anyone who’s not a big fan of that, probably won’t get lucky this summer. But for everyone else, including me, it’s like a big Coachella party 2 go!

Slowly but surely I’m fed up with winter – and that means it’s time to have a look at the upcoming fashion trends for spring and summer 2015. Besides some well-known trends, we can also look forward to some new and interesting ones. And because the upcoming season has a lot to offer, I decided to show my absolute favorites first.

Yesterday, one of my best friends took the pictures I show you today. We had so much taking the pictures, but we also truly started to sweat, because yesterday october surprised us with bombastic weather again. I didn’t expect october to be that sunny and warm and so I bought lots of fall pieces during the last weeks. One of my favorite buys is this oversized trench coat by asos.

Do you remember the time when skinny jeans haven’t been even a little cool? And even straight leg jeans have been a no-go for a long time. There was no choice: Your jeans had to be flared. And the bigger the flare the better. I loved it. And I remember how confused I was a couple of years ago when the trend moved from flared jeans to skinny jeans. I refused to wear skinny jeans for month and kept looking for flared jeans. „I’m not going to wear these strange pants.“ But I reckoned without the fashion industry. No matter which jeans I was picking up from the table, skinny legs appeared. I gave up hope and bought straight leg jeans first. And it felt like they were so damn skinny. But this feeling changed quickly – my jeans got skinnier and skinnier and I started to like it more and more. And ever since jeggings appeared, jeans can’t be skinny enough.

A short story. It’s the 1st of September. Nine o’clock. The alarm clock goes off. I sleepy get into the kitchen. Brew coffee. Drink coffee. A look through the window. Sunshine. A second more precise look. Blue sky. Joy. Another coffee. Having a shower. A look into my wardrobe. Flip-flops? No. Sandals? No. Boots! My new booties! Jeans? No. Leggings? No. My new summer dress! A jacket? No. A trench coat? No. A pullover and a scarf! Perfect! Get out quickly. It’s warm in the sunshine. Cold among the shades. It’s fall. It’s beautiful fall.

My Dears,
during the last days it has been a little quiet on my blog. If you think I may have been on vacation or just enjoyed the beautiful weather, you’re not completely wrong with the last one, nor are you completely right. Truth is I worked with Bene on his very last-minute World Cup Song for 2014. If you didn’t knew, Bene isn’t only my boyfriend and photographer, but songwriter as well. And the whole World Cup story starts about two weeks ago when Bene had the idea to produce his own World Cup song…

April showers bring May flowers. I don’t really see that right now, cause it seems as if May would shower, too. The last days haven’t been as sunny as they should. But we finally would love to wear our summer dresses, relax in the sun, sit in front of the cafes and have a barbecue in the park. Slowly I’m getting a little impatient and each morning I wake up, I at first have a look, if it’s sunny outside. And while I’m sitting in my kitchen right now, it really seems as if the sun is shining today. I’m hoping it will stay this way. Cross your fingers!

Does it almost feel like summer for you, as well? Cologne anyway has got a sun-subscribtion and I hope it’s not a trial one, but one with a lengthy contract term. But it doesn’t only feel like summer, it also looks like summer: in front of ice cream shops people stand in queue, the tables in front of cafés are highly coveted, crowds of people flock to parks, almost everywhere you can see sunglasses, tank tops and shorts – the city is buzzy and colorful again. But every year I ask myself: „Where have they been the whole winter?“
