My dear ones, today I’ve got another MBFW Berlin look for you. Prior to fashion week, I’ve been a lucky girl and was allowed to pick up my favorite pieces from the spring / summer collections of two of my favorite brands – Pinko and Navyboot. This black & white look, that I wore for the after show party by Marina Hoermanseder, is one of the looks I created with the new styles.

This year fringes are the must-have! Whether we’re talking about shoes, bags, necklaces, jackets, vests, shirts or skirts – everything that comes with fringes is up to date! And how do we like that? Well, I don’t know how you like it, but I think it’s great. I already showed you a fringed vest in the look „Double Denim meets 70ies“ and a fringed shirt in the look „This is summer“. And for todays look I picked up a very special fringed piece: a fringed suede cape.

I guess most of us probably won’t travel to California this weekend, won’t visit Coachella and won’t dance the night away on desert sand. Is it a pity? YES! Is it a reason to be sad? Maybe. But for those, who would love to experience a little bit of Coachella flair, consolation is in sight: This year hippie, boho and 70ies looks are more fashionable than ever – and not only for two weekends in California. Fringes, suede, lace and crochet details dominate the fashion collections in store. Anyone who’s not a big fan of that, probably won’t get lucky this summer. But for everyone else, including me, it’s like a big Coachella party 2 go!

Just another reason for being excited for summer to come – the new Buffalo spring / summer 2015 collection has arrived! And I think it couldn’t be more versatile! Pastel, metallic, glitter, sneakers, wedges, heels – if there isn’t a fitting shoe for every situation then I don’t know. My first treasure are the Buffalo plateau wedges in 90ies style, I already showed you in the look „It’s time for neoprene, baby!“.
(ENGLISH / DEUTSCH) Neoprene – the stuff that diving suits are made of. Until some years ago, we probably all would have thought of diving suits when hearing the word „neoprene“. But at least since […]

I’ve got my leather pants on! Again. Again and again. At least until it’s getting too warm to wear them. But even if it’s midsummer, I would still consider to take my leather pants out on breezy summer nights. And if it’s way too warm, it’s not the end for leather pieces. We can easily switch to suede mini skirts, that are supposed to be a huge spring / summer trend this year. (You can have another look at my favorite spring / summer 2015 trends here.)

As soon as spring arrives, each and every year, I suddenly can’t wait for summer to come! And this funny button inside my head, that only knows two settings – winter and summer – switches. And because there effectively doesn’t exist fall or spring for me, me and my wardrobe behave as if it’s already summer. And so I start buying summer essentials in March, just to be over-punctual at the ready.

I can’t help myself, but every time I see red shoes, I automatically have to think of The Wizard of Oz. Have you seen the movie? Do you remember Judy Garlands famous red shoes? There are some things we know from fairytales, that I would love to own – The Wishing Table, the Gold-Ass, the Cudgel in the Sack and first of all Dorothys red magic shoes. For those of you who haven’t seen the movie: To finally get back home after her long journey, Dorothy just needs to batter her heels while thinking „There’s no place like home.“. How cool would be shoes, that could take you home whenever you want – without walking, driving or flying!? And such shoes probably would be the only reason to never buy any other shoes again. And even though I know, I could vainly batter every single pair of red shoes that exist, I’ll keep on trying, because there’s one thing we learned from Dorothy:

Some weeks ago I wrote about my six favorite spring / summer 2015 trends – and while I was searching for pieces that match the „Modern Safari“ trend, my wide linen pants, that I bought more than a year ago and didn’t wear once, came to my mind. Luckily they survived the dreary year inside of my closet. Because normally, when it comes to separating out and selling my clothes, my first rule is: „When you didn’t wear it throughout a year, you’ll never wear it again.“

Actually, I’m fed up with winter since a couple of weeks. Actually, it could be summer already. Actually. But when having a look at my new new Lieb Ju bag and the matching shoe cuffs, I appreciate winter again – at least when it comes to fashion. And so I caught myself thinking: „Luckily it’s still cold enough to wear faux fur and cozy fabrics.“.

Cotton Candy and love apples, bumper car and raffle ticket booth, roasted almonds and pickled cucumber… everyone thinks of a different word, but we all mean the same: funfair, fairground, kermess. How long I haven’t been there! As a child I totally loved it – especially the raffle ticket booth and „pull strings“ – although it’s the most unspectacular thing you can do at the funfair. „Prizes, prizes, prizes! No blanks! Every ticket wins!“ As a child you firmly believe that this time you’ll win the biggest soft toy the ticket man has to offer. But oh no, countless times you go home with a stupid little keychain. Some learn from that and leave gambling behind. Others start to join the lottery and firmly believe that one day they will win the biggest prize the lottery fairy has to offer. But we all now what they gonna take home countless times…

Slowly but surely I’m fed up with winter – and that means it’s time to have a look at the upcoming fashion trends for spring and summer 2015. Besides some well-known trends, we can also look forward to some new and interesting ones. And because the upcoming season has a lot to offer, I decided to show my absolute favorites first.
