(English / Deutsch) Besides my big passion for denim, there’s also another big passion: my passion for high quality leather pieces. Weather it’s about shoes, jackets, bags or pants – as soon as I’m fallen […]

Finally, I have the chance to show you the very first look with my new vintage MCM bag, that I found some weeks ago at the Glück & Glanz boutique opening event in Cologne. (You can read everything about the vintage designer bags by Glück & Glanz here.) To create a perfekt fall look, I decided to go for different shades of brown and a material mix.

It’s officially fall and that means it’s time to get our over knee boots and trench coats out of our wardrobes again. Because besides cozy sweaters and cardigans, over the knee boots and trench coats are the fashionable incarnation of fall.

Slowly, but surely summer seems to be over and fall has finally arrived. And like each and every year I await fall with mixed feelings. On the one hand, I’m a little sad that it’s going to be colder and colder outside, but on the other hand I’m looking forward to the “leatherjackets, cozy sweaters and booties“- time of the year.

Cool jeans, my favorite shoes, my favorite shirt and my new cozy sweater by Mrs. Foxworthy – welcome to my comfort zone! Although I really like fancy clothing, casual looks are the ones I feel the most comfortable with.
(ENGLISH / DEUTSCH) Neoprene – the stuff that diving suits are made of. Until some years ago, we probably all would have thought of diving suits when hearing the word „neoprene“. But at least since […]

I can’t help myself, but every time I see red shoes, I automatically have to think of The Wizard of Oz. Have you seen the movie? Do you remember Judy Garlands famous red shoes? There are some things we know from fairytales, that I would love to own – The Wishing Table, the Gold-Ass, the Cudgel in the Sack and first of all Dorothys red magic shoes. For those of you who haven’t seen the movie: To finally get back home after her long journey, Dorothy just needs to batter her heels while thinking „There’s no place like home.“. How cool would be shoes, that could take you home whenever you want – without walking, driving or flying!? And such shoes probably would be the only reason to never buy any other shoes again. And even though I know, I could vainly batter every single pair of red shoes that exist, I’ll keep on trying, because there’s one thing we learned from Dorothy:

Short story: „Why Black & White is always right!“ Giant pandas show us how to do and we copy it. When I think about looks that you can’t go wrong with, there are exactly three combinations that come to my mind: 1. the classical #allblackeverything look, 2. blue jeans and white shirts and 3. black & white looks. But why? I think it’s because black and white virtually suit everybody. Maybe the giant panda better than the cow, but nobody really looks weird when wearing black and white. At least I have never ever thought: „Oh dear, I’m so sorry, but black isn’t your color!“

Day 14 in 2015. Coffee and chia pudding. I’m all set. A look at my to-do-list tells: there are just two things done out of more than twenty. And one of these two things is only done for the moment. Because, to be honest, „do the laundry“ disappears at least for 48 hours. I have no idea why it’s always like that, but if my hair from now on would grow as fast as my pile of washing does, I would turn into Rapunzel the day after tomorrow. And if I would be Rapunzel soon, I would be sitting in a tower and probably wouldn’t have any to-do-list (and any laundry problem either). But this idea causes a problem – where should I get a tower from that quickly? The only tower that comes to my mind is Colognes TV tower. And I guess I would have to pay a rack rent. I wonder if Rapunzel needed to pay a rent? Hopefully she had a Tangle Teezer to comb all of her hair. How high was her tower? I guess not as high as mine. Question is, if my prince will be able to save me. And do I really want to get rescued? It’s pretty cozy here with my OnePiece onesie. „Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!“ „Splat!“ it goes and my pile of (laundry) hair hits the ground. Luckily, I’m wearing a Papanga, so I don’t get flung out of the window. My prince is carefully prepared – after drinking a green smoothie, he easily climbs up to my window. Beaming with joy he opens his hip bag and presents me with joy (… drum roll …) my to-do-list! „You forgot it at home!“, he says.

Bloggers don’t like each other. They just bitch about each other behind their backs. Bloggers only look for their own profit. And if it seems as if they would like each other, it has to be fake.
Good thing not everything that people say is true. I guess this prejudice may go for some bloggers, but I’m always stunned how nice and heartily the most bloggers are, when you get to know them. A blogger, I especially have taken to my heart, is Lisa from The L Fashion. So I guess it’s clear who’s the „special guest“ today – of course it’s Lisa! But at bottom, originally I’ve been the guest. Because Lisas boyfriend (and photographer) Jochen has been so sweet, that he didn’t only take some pictures of Lisa some days ago, but also some pictures of me.

Winter is coming and with it the time of a year, where we cannot imagine anything better than making ourselves comfortable with a cup of coffee or tea. And if we take ourselves outside, we dress as warmly as possible and tramp clumsy, but happy through winter. Until lately, my idea of a perfect winter evening looked like this: I’m sitting at the fireside, wearing a huge sweater and cozy fluffy socks. I’m holding a huge cup of latte in my hands and there’s standing a plate full of spiced cookies in front of me. I really like the idea of a fireside and although I cannot imagine I’ve ever sat in front of one, I hold onto this idea. But one thing has changed about my idea: instead of a huge sweater, I’m now wearing my new OnePiece jumpsuit. It’s kind of a jumpsuit upgrade.

„Are you a boy or a girl?“ he asks me. „A girl!!“ I answer disgustedly. This happened some years ago at a festival. It was dark and rainy. I was wearing wide jeans, sneakers and a rain jacket. The hood covered my unmade-up face. When I think about it today I understand that it wasn’t clear if I’m a girl or a boy. But at that time I brood about it for a while – am I only clearly recognizable as a girl, when I’m wearing typical girls clothes!?
