Longing for summer!

As soon as spring arrives, each and every year, I suddenly can’t wait for summer to come! And this funny button inside my head, that only knows two settings – winter and summer – switches. And because there effectively doesn’t exist fall or spring for me, me and my wardrobe behave as if it’s already summer. And so I start buying summer essentials in March, just to be over-punctual at the ready.

Es ist wieder so weit: Vom 2. April bis 11. April 2015 geht die bekannte und beliebte Glamour Shopping-Week in eine neue Runde. Wer davon bisher noch nichts gehört hat, muss hinterm Mond wohnen sollte jetzt seine Ohren spitzen. (Wo wohl immer diese Redewendungen her kommen?) Wie wir es von der Glamour Shopping Week gewohnt sind, gibt es wieder zahlreiche teilnehmende Labels und Firmen, die mit (mal mehr und mal weniger) interessanten Rabatten und Aktionen locken. Wer die Glamour Shopping Week schon seit ein paar Jahren beobachtet, wird allerdings nicht viele Überraschungen erleben – die meisten Shopping-Week Partner sind schon im letzten Jahr dabei gewesen und auch an den Rabattaktionen hat sich teilweise nichts geändert. Bedeutet aber nicht, dass die Shopping-Week diesmal weniger interessant ist.

And that means streets will be crowded and there will be almost nothing you can’t do, or become – just like in New York!

#storyofmylife: Lately at H&M: It was clear from the outset that I wouldn’t stick to my intention to only buy a new bag and be home again in about one hour. The question is, why we are making these kind of plans again and again, when it never comes off. Maybe we try to give destiny a leg up!? Because honestly, the best buys happen, when we little liars vow to ourselves to quickly get into the city to only buy a specific garment. I have no idea, why it’s always like that, but when it works, I’m fine with it.

The glühwein season has started, present searching begins and our homes are about to get decorated festively. „Once upon a time, very long ago…“ that’s how every phantastic fairy tale and every enchanting bedtime story starts. Remember the days, you had nothing else to do, but hide under your bedclothes wearing you favorite pajamas, close your eyes and listen to a wonderful story. Our bedtimes stories became others, but from time to time I dig out my storybook and with the greatest amazement I realize that some things may loose it’s magic when you grow up, but fairy tales will never belong to these things.
